On Friday after work, Kathy and I walked to Chelsea Market to pick up some dinner to take to the Highline to eat. There are a few places to pick up "real" food, and just as many places that sell cupcakes and other baked goods in Chelsea Market. We decided on Eleni's, which was originally just a cookie place when they opened. The cupcake craze changed that. (probably smart because their cookies, although very cool, don't taste very good.)
I got this chocolate and peanut butter cupcake (second from the right). It was gooooood!! The frosting was really yummy and peanut butter-y and the cake had peanut butter cups baked right into it. Thumbs up on this cupcake.
On display at Chelsea Market was this exhibit. It was also fun to see in person.
