Summer rewind

Before my two mini-vacations, I hosted some visitors. First 6 Norwegians and one Idahoan descended on my 2 bedroom apartment. As usual, I planned a most excellent NYC experience, and although not everything went according to plan, we had a good time.

The same day this huge group left, Anne Lise arrived for a writing workshop and then stayed for few days of sightseeing.
Here we are at the pier in Queens with a lovely view of Manhattan.

Next vacation

After visiting the Cape, I had one day to do laundry and then pack up again to go visit my bf.  I know you're jealous.  These pictures were from a drive up to Jackson WY.  My dress got so wrinkled in the car!

He's so proud of his beard.

Cape Cod

My good friends Lara and Candace invited me to join then during their week in Cape Cod. On July 3, I woke up at 5 am and took the subway to the bus station, bus to Boston, taxi to ferry station and then the ferry to Provincetown. From the pier in P-Town, we could walk to their house. It sounded like a nightmare but actually turned out to be just fine and I arrived by 2:30.
