On Christmas day, one of my friends flew in and we had fun exploring the city. Here is the ice skating rink in Bryant Park. The line was super long and it was 9 degrees. We did not skate.
View from the top of the Empire State Building. I may have gone all the way up the 102nd floor in the past, but I don't remember. It was very cool!

The next week, we got a "bomb cyclone" snow storm. We didn't get a lot of accumulation, but the wind was so strong that it blew snow all the way down into the subway station.
