both helpful comments... however I know it's not in the lining of my purse (reference to SATC) because I don't have one and it's not in the Gibby car because I know when I lost it (after I got back from my last trip to Boston). I lost it due to my own stupidity and not protecting what is most valuable to me (in this case, a pair of $20 earrings).
