The Algarve is the southern coast of Portugal.

View of the ocean from our hotel (we only stayed here one night, which is my only regret of this whole trip.  I wish we stayed here longer!)

After checking into our hotel, we drove to the beach.  We just stuck our toes in the sand and enjoyed the cool evening.
