If you donate money during an election, you will get at least one or two emails from that person and their people for the rest of your life.
Last week, I got an email from Michelle Obama, and this is what it said:
Subject: Sonya, you're amazing
from: Michelle Obama to: you
Now, I know I only got this message because I gave a few of my dollars (very few) and I know it was only an email asking for more of my dollars, and I know she sent the same email to many other people named Sonya or other names, and I know it wasn't really from Michelle Obama.
BUT, I still really, really liked it.
