This happened to me with Downton Abbey, Season 1 but that was fine since there were only a few episodes and I finished the whole season at like 3:30 am. Then this happened again to me with this exact show, Battlestar Galactica. It was very much like this scene except add in two small children who were slowly becoming feral due to the lack of human nurturing. We had to swear off Netflix for about three months afterwards. True story.
I hate to admit it, but for me, it would be Dexter. I'm a really bad example. The worst part of this show is the f-word. Violence is not as bad as you would think about a serial killer.

For me it has been West Wing and Band of Brothers. Several times for each series. (This is Jill.)
Funnily enough, Battlestar Galactica

There is a lot of truth in there, especially for Portlandians.
and my work friend wanted me to tell you, for her it was The Walking Dead.

The entire 1st season of The Walking Dead. That's a lot of blood and gore in one sitting.

Leave it to my mom to be more offended by the cursing than the killing.
I thot about it and realized that Downton Abby was the same way, I could hardly wait for the next episode. Quite a contrast.
I also love Downton Abby, and last night was the end of the season! Withdrawal again.
